Oh, you poor old neglected blog...
We had our client Christmas function on Friday to the theme of 1960's New York - a Mad Men inspired sort of get up. We hired a hair & makeup artist to get the crew all up to spec and of course, I just had to sew my own dress.
Sue helped me pick the fabric and also supplied me with a thoroughly suitable pair of red rose earrings originally belonging to her mum. Unfortunately you won't see the earring in any of these photos as clip-ons are the devil and had a much admired though very limited life span on my earlobes!
Yes, this photo is 100% over posed however its the only one I have which shows the dress in its entirety. (I promise it was a respectable knee length when I was standing up).

I asked for the 'Joan Holloway' do. I want that hairstyle every day of the week!
